carrier cover up

Does anyone have a cover up for their baby carrier?? Like a sweatshirt/sweater type thing? A full suit on LO before I put her in the carrier seems a little over-zealous, and a blanket that I have to hold over her kind of defeats the purpose of hands free baby wearing. It's really starting to get chilly here in WI but I still want to hang with the babe outdoors.

If you have used one, did you like it?? Where did ya purchase it from?

This is the only website that I have been able to easily find them on. I really want one as well. I also have a nursing sweater from motherhood that can wrap around the carrier and works well.

I was just about to tun and grab my debit card. Then I read that they are out of production until february. SAD! it seems awesome!

My plan is to have LO in a warm suit, but nothing too big so he can wear it in the car seat. Then. I will just leave him in that and wrap him underneath my coat and try to cover him with my coat as well. I only plan on using it to get in and out of the store so it will hopefully be warm enough.

I found some patterns and ideas on Pinterest but right now I just use a big coat or sweater and bundle her legs and make sure she has a hat or hoodie for days when it's been colder so far.

It's just like a sweatshirt. So, you'll probably still have to have baby in layers too.
I live in northern CA but go to MI every Xmas. Nothing is warm enough for that... But at $15 and just to run I to target with it on, I'd say not bad. But not out icefishing in Wi.
Ps where in wi? My sisters live outside of Milwaukee.

Word! Dressing baby in MI weather sucks already @ceechie. It's not even November yet and I'm already bitching yikes!
