How soon after a flu?

How long after a flu should I wait to give milk and normal foods again? My kid spent all morning throwing up yesterday and stopped at around 10 am. I gave her carbs and clear liquids the rest of the day. When she wakes up this morning, should I go back to normal, or give it time?

I would skip it too, milk is hard on a pukey tummy. I waited a couple days with DS.

False alarm. We woke up to puke again this morning. Back to BRAT for us today.
