My DH had a regatta today and he booked me for a prenatal massage! Oh man, it was HEAVEN!!! For one hour I was able to completely relax, it felt fabulous. I could have lay there all day letting her work her magic. Gosh I wish I could afford this every day! If anyone has considered getting one I highly recommend it. Especially this close to the end when everything hurts.
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.

    Sounds wonderful! I'll have to remember this when I get closer to my due date. I recall being pretty miserable at the end the first time around.

    I am not a massage person. I've never had one and never have had the desire to get one. I'm weird about strangers touching me. That said, I have been seriously considering going to get one because I have a huge knot on the left side of my back that mostly bothers me when I'm trying to go to sleep. I'm exhausted but can't sleep because of the pain. I may have to break down and go because Tylenol doesn't help.

    Ohhhhh I am jealous!!!!  I could use a massage in the worst way.  The best part is being able to lay on your stomach and relax.  Glad you had a great experience.  I may break down and get one the week I start my maternity leave.  Where I like to go to get a massage is pretty pricey but I go once in a blue moon.  A gift certificate for a massage and a spa pedicure that is simply divine was my pushing present with my daughter and it is my hubs go to gift for holidays and my birthday.  I LOVE getting.  I wanna massage now too :)

    I really need one right about now. I am so miserable. Hopefully I can get one before going into labor.

    I think you should give it a try. They are very respectful and professional, and the benefits are many. You might be surprised how much it helps. I slept so much better last night.

    She started me on my stomach with the pregnancy pillow but I was feeling pressure on my stomach so she had me switch to my back. I never would have imagined you could do a massage that way but she was so good at it. I hope you can get one soon!

    I had a prenatal massage last month and loved it! They would only do an hour long massage and it felt great. I'm glad I went because they put me in a really comfortable position on my side, using pillows, and I've been sleeping that way at home ever since!
