EBF and Spotting?

I EBF and have yet to have my first postpartum period. But I have had 2 episodes of spotting, a month or so apart and it's literally (sorry tmi) just shows up as light brown blood, once on the t.p. in the morning and then...nothing else. What gives? Is this normal? Anyone else?

    I had spotting 2.5 weeks ago and then this past Tuesday I started the real deal. It was a sad day...
    You'd also think that your body would let you ease back into this bloody mess but no - it unleashes full force.

    Anyway... Back to your question. I think it's normal - maybe you'll start soon?

    Did your supply drop? These last two days all of a sudden my boobs can't get it together and I suddenly want to eat everything. I'm wondering if AF is coming.

    I don't know because I'm yet to have mine but it does sound like AF could be making her return.

    I had spotting before mine came back. Then I had the angriest most painful period ever. My vagine is pissed and taking no prisoners.

    I was the same as Lax. It was brutal. I wish all I had was spotting.

    I did have a dip in supply Friday and yesterday but was super full again this morning...so I don't know if it's related or not.

    EBF here, and LO is 6 months on Wednesday....still no AF or spotting. I would think it could be AF on her way though, but you never know. I wouldn't worry. I went 9 & 10 months with no AF with my first 2 kids. Hoping the same this time around.

    This is what happened to me about 3 months ago and then this past month I had a more full blown period. Still nothing super heavy but definitely more than spotting. I asked my doctor after the second month of spotting and she said she'd count both of those as AF making a return. I am also EBF and I pump once a day to have a freezer stash (I'm home with LO right now). I haven't seen a dip in my supply and hopefully won't.

    Really, she counted that as AF making a return? Mine is SO light and just barely anything, literally just one time of spotting, both months, it would be crazy if that were a period! But I will definitely take it as a sign that I'm probably ovulating now- not that I've ever counted on this as birth control!
