Trick or treating

Anyone else have trick or treating this weekend? Last night was our neighborhood Night TOT and DD who is 2 had so much fun! Our neighborhood goes all out w a costume contest and a house decorating contest. We walked around with some neighbors and had a blast.

I thought all the walking at 39 weeks might have put me into labor, but no such luck. At least we're stocked on candy.

    I'm in the UK and it's sort of hit-or-miss here. Halloween is very polarizing; not everyone celebrates it and there are people who really hate it. The best way to do it is to go to a neighbourhood of American ex-pats and trick or treat there! We've flown back for Halloween in previous years. I wouldn't have taken DS trick or treating anyway but as I'm meant to be induced, his babysitter is taking her kids and is going to take him too. I'm gutted, since it's the first Halloween he's really big enough to understand what it's about!

    My sons school had trunk or treat Friday night. We do regular trick or treat on Halloween. Hoping baby stays in until after that!

    I took my DDs trick or treating last night at a church party.  I was glad for the opportunity since who knows how I'll be feeling come Halloween. I'm paranoid of having a halloween baby.

    My daughter's school also has a trick or trunk on Thursday. I really don't think I'll be taking her out after. She also has a Halloween party on Friday so I don't feel bad. That's more than enough candy and TOT for one year.

    We are going Thursday.... I.AM.EXCITED. .... loved it last year. This year should be even more fun since DD is now 3 years old. Seeing all the kids (and parents) is entertaining. I'm due November 4th so maybe all the walking and candy will do me in... ;)

    Just took DS1 this afternoon around our neighborhood and on Thursday he's going around at his grandparents! He was Sully from Monsters Inc!

    We are going thursday night if we don't have a baby by then. DD is going as a devil. I bought devil horns and a tail to match her.
