OK, mamas. I'm filling out my hospital bag tomorrow (34 weeks, wut wuuuut) and I'm looking for recommendations on your favorite washable nursing pads! What brands did you love/hate? How many do you recommend having on hand?
I like the organic cotton ones from BRU. I'm sorry i don't remember the name. They are so soft from the get go and get softer with every wash! I would take maybe 3 sets with you. I didnt start leaking enough to have enough for a pads until milk came in so day 3ish. At home I'd have several sets (6ish) just so you dont have to wash a ton.
I actually got a couple free sets with the coupon code from UdderCovers (just had to pay shipping). I like to use them at night only because they are a bit bulky and make me look lumpy, but are perfectly comfy. I think altogether I have 6-8 pairs. I agree that you should bring 2-3 pairs with you.
Second Bamboobies - there are various thicknesses - they are amazing! I hated the organic cotton ones from BRU - I leaked right through them. The Madella ones were ok, but I like the smoothness of the Bamboobies better.
