When should a sleep schedule be put into place? My LO is almost 3 weeks old and sleeps allll day and wakes to feed about every three hours. She continues same schedule through the night. Is it too early to even worry about a schedule/ routine?
I wouldn't worry about it right now. The first few months are pretty much survival. My DD is 9 weeks and she's starting to fall into a loose routine naturally in the last week or so. Just enjoy the flow and sleepy cuddles right now.
I'm now sort of following the moms on call routine for her naps and I've been getting longer stretches at night. I loosley follow the feeding routine, but I also feed on demand if she seems hungry. It will come, don't stress about it right now!
