Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Baby Einstein Musical Motion 2-in-1 Stationary Jumper & Entertainer

Is this a better than a walker.  I have read that walkers are not good for babies. Mt son is 8 moths he will be 9 months on the 1st and he is very active and i want to get him something that he will enjoy. This item is a jumper. Here is some information about it.

Your baby will jump with delight in the award winning Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumper. The seat is designed for even young babies with the high back offering comfort and support for children of all ages. The jumper is made to adjust to any of 5 different heights so that the fun doesn't have to end as your baby grows. Four activity stations surround your baby and provide 12 engaging games that little ones can easily access with the 360-degree rotating seat. Baby can explore different languages with the electric piano that introduces colors and shapes in English, French and Spanish. The teething station is designed to soothe babies' discomfort while also keeping them engaged and stimulated. The sun teether stalk has fun clackers to explore, or baby can play with the cloud stalk and bird teether. The bird teether is filled with water so you can refrigerate it and cool those sore gums. The mirror, dancing lights and 6 classical melodies offer total auditory and visual stimulation, allowing your little one to explore a world of surprises. Kids can spin the large ball for rattling sounds, bead movement and real-life imagery. Add even more fun by attaching your own toys to the 4 Baby Einstein links or loops on the toy tray. Non-skid feet, padded toy bars, and covered springs offer added safety for your peace of mind and baby's fun. When baby is done playing, simply remove the seat pad for machine washing and fold the jumper for easy storage. The play stations are also removable for easy cleanup and portability.

  • Also he can crawl great. He pulls up on everything. He can also stand up in his infant car seat if he is not strapped up.

  • I have this jumper and my daughter seems to like it. She will last about 15-30 mins in it and she is 6 1/2 months old. She has been going in it since 3 months old. She is just about to crawl so i'm not sure how much she will like it after that. I think at 9months your son might not get that much use out of it. I agree and would look for someone selling it incase you don't get much use out of it you wont feel like you wasted 100 bucks! It's great for when I have to run to the bathroom or while i'm cooking dinner though :)
  • We have the baby Einstein jumper and my lo loves it! It comes with great toys and you can also attach more toys onto it.

  • I have the Rainforest Jumparoo - both my boys are all over the place crawling but they still do love to get in them and jump like crazy at almost 10 months old.  I know we won't be able to use them for much longer as they are getting to tall but I'm very happy I decided to get them.
  • We have the baby Einstein jumper and DD loves it! She started going in it at 3months. But now at 8.5months and crawling, she much rather be free to crawl and stand and play. It's good for me to have a safe place for her if I have to do something around the house. Its a great toy but I do think it'd be a waste of money for you to get one now at 9months old.
