My second question of the day. So I clean DD ears about 2-3 times a week. With those special baby q-tips. Well when we went to her 4 month check up and the doctor saw in her ear. She had a HUGE ear wax ball in there! He left the room and came back with a special looking stick and which he inserted in her ear and took the wax out. She did not cry or anything. Well she keeps rubbing her ear and I remember I have not cleaned them all week and I turn my little light on and look in her ear! Eeew! Def needs to be cleaned. But now I'm wondering what if she has that ball of ear wax again and this is why she is rubbing it. Has this happened to anyone? Can I buy that tool the doctor used to clean her ears myself? TIA.
Re: Cleaning ears
Is that real? Or is that a joke?
I read that if it is problematic the dr can give ear drops that will help with the wax
I only wipe his ears with a washbcloth at bath time but I don't stick anything down his ears. At his last appointment my pedi cleaned some wax out of his ear so he could look down there but he said it was no big deal.
