Ugh Pregnancy Brain moment! Have you had one lately?

So this morning I am tired an have a little bit of a headache. I decide that a small cup of coffee to get some caffeine may help. I pour a little flavored creamer in the bottom of my cup (I like to put it in first so it mixes nicely when I add coffee) add a half packet of sugar then before I know I am sitting at my desk wondering what this nasty hot milky colored stuff is in my cup! I added hot water from our water cooler instead of coffee! Ugh! Starting over to try again now

I locked myself out of my house and my car when trying to leave for work yesterday. Was stuck outside freezing my butt off for over an hour before I was able to get someone to pick me up.

Everyone who has a spare key to my house was away....

In the middle of my shower yesterday I couldn't remember if I washed my hair. (I always do that first). Pretty sure I washed my hair twice.

We have a very sharp proffesional butchers knife that we normally keep up in the cabinet above the stove. Well after doing the dinner dishes Wed. I put it in the low drawer with all of the other cooking utensils. My 2 year old DD always gets in that drawer to play with the items in there. My DH said "What the hell are you doing??" Now I knew exactly what I had in my hand and where I was putting it. It just didnt dawn on me that it was wrong... Oye This baby is not only stealing my energy it is stealing my brain!

Yes! Yesterday I started the washer, added soap, closed the door to the washer and wash room and finished working. It was a few hours later that I realized I never put the clothes in! The 2nd try I finally got them in the washer.

I also tend to lose the car in every parking lot (grocery store, mall, restaurants). I can't remember where I park. Ever!

I keep forgetting to bring stuff I need for field visits at work. Today I spent 20 extra minutes in the car going back to the office to get some paperwork I forgot, and then I still only grabbed half of what I needed.

I took the lid off of DS's cup & filled the cup with water. I started talking to my inlaws & DH says "honey, what are you doing?" DS grabbed his cup of water & dumped it all over him, the table, & the floor of Cracker Barrel. Note to self: sippy cups are only spill proof with the lid on. :-/

Yes. Last night I left my purse in my husbands' car. He leaves for work about 20 minutes before I do. When I realized that my purse was gone, I thought I would call him, grab my keys and meet him somewhere. Nope, my keys are in my purse. Now I'm waiting for him to get back to the house so that I can get my keys and get to work.

Ugh! This has been happening to me a lot lately. Last week I was trying to tell my coworker that I liked her necklace and instead I told her I liked her neck...that got weird. Thankfully she's my friend an we just had a good laugh over it.

I keep taking my contacts out at night but not putting saline in the case. So in the morning the contacts are all dried out and I have to wear my glasses...

OMG I'm getting these all the time lately. Today's question: did I remember to take my prenatals and iron supplement with breakfast? That's my routine, but I swear I didn't have them this morning. But at the same time, if I DID I don't want to overdo the vitamin--that's scary shit!

So baby has to wait until tomorrow morning for his prenatal funnies and iron. :-/

This week I went to the store 3 times in 3 days because I kept forgetting things. The last time was because I had the chicken and pasta all cooked for chucken alfredo... but didn't have alfredo sauce. Oy.

I was making Mac and cheese for dinner. Set the water on the stove to boil. Turned on the stove and left the room to do something else. TOTALY forgot that I did it and by the time I remembered the water was almost all evaporated and I had to start over

I was pretty sure that my flight back home (after visiting my mom on another island) was on October 18th. At the check in counter the guy from the airline could not find my name. It turned out that I was 24hours too late since the reservation was for the day before.... Unfortunately more money was spent... On a new ticket for the next morning (the flights for that date were all fully booked)
