Birthday Gift 13 year old girl

My neighbor's daughter is turning 13 and is all excited about becoming a teenager.  I want to get her a special gift.  Any ideas?

    Maybe a manicure gift certificate?  Is she too young for that?

    Ohh you can make her like a little spa type basket with face masks, lotion, body spray and lip gloss and put the gift card in there.  I remember being really into "smelly stuff" like that when I was that age.

    The manicure is a fabulous idea. I worked with Jhigh high school girls when I was in college and they were all obsessed with my victoria's secret/bath and body lip gloss. I bought those as gifts a lot ;)

    I like dmartins idea. When I was a young teen my parents used to give me that kind of stuff for gifts and I loved it.

    When my niece was approaching teen years I got her whatever was the stylish trend at her school at the time (granted I just flat out asked her for some options) which was a holister shirt. I know that's not stylish now, but I know she liked getting at least one gift that she knew she was going to like.
