My kids are total opposites...

We had our 3yr and 1yr well checks today.  DS1 is 40 inches tall and 40lbs - he's solid.  Then DS2 measured in at 30 inches and 19.5lbs - tiny.  Our ped isn't too concerned about DS1 since we eat healthy and he's following his growth curve since birth.  He doesn't have any rolls, etc.  DS2 on the other hand is creeping down in the weight percentile.  Ped isn't worried yet but said we'd discuss at his 15 month appt.

I'm not super worried but I'm not unconcerned - if that makes sense.  This is new territory for me.

  • I have a girl but that weight doesn't concern me if he follows his curve. Dd was 18.5 with clothes on and our doctor said nothing as she had always hovered around 10%. I don't consider 10% tiny just smaller side of average.

Ds2 is dropping in percentile with his weight. At 9 months he was in the 25th, at 6 months just below the 50th.

Ds1 has always topped the charts so he's consistent. Ds2 isn't consistent.

We're finishing up the freezer stash of breastmilk dthnthen will transition to wcm. He's been on table foods for a while. Usually has oatmeal every morning for breakfast, yogurt along with his lunch, etc.
