sorry to be a PW - but everywhere i look on google is like "am i pregnant?" and that's totally not what i'm asking or looking for.

so I spontaneously got AF on my own (woopee!) after 3 or 4 weeks of stopping pumping. not that we're actively ttc, it's just as a woman with PCOS who never got regular cycles while actually trying to conceive, it was pretty cool to get a period on my own. that was on 10/4. so again we're not ttc, so i never even thought to take my temp or anything to see if i'm ovulating because with two 9.5 month old twins i really don't have time for that lol.  i haven't been on BCP, but DH has been using condoms for the most part. i got some weird EWCM-ish not long after my period ended, and i didn't think much of it. now i'm technically cd 22 and for realz, got some pretty intense cramps last night and all night tonight, like a stretching sensation almost. i 99% do NOT think i am pregnant, but i'm wondering a) if i'm about to start another AF this early? and b) if the cramping continues if i should call my OB. i do have a dermoid cyst on one of my ovaries and i've vowed not to have it touched until it starts causing issues. anywho, i don't want to overreact on this, it's just weirding me out because i'm so not used to my body actually doing stuff on its own.

    I don't have any experience or insight into PCOS, but I did have some funky happenings after weaning. I'd always been insanely regular (Even when I was still nursing, I was having regular periods). Weaning threw my body for a loop. I started getting a weird cramping in my pelvic area and went through multiple doctors, tests, and even a CT scan. My cycles were 20 days. My blood work came back normal, but the only thing they could ever think of was a cyst that threw my cycles for a loop and ruptured. The pain was never that bad, but the doctors just kept sending me for more tests since they were stumped. This all lasted for four months.

    Anyway, sorry for the novel, but I just wanted to say that weaning really messed up my body. Maybe it's making things difficult for you too? FWIW, if AF does end up coming any earlier than 24 days, I would call your OBGYN. Mine told me I should have come in when I first had a 20 day cycle.
