Skinny Jeans-what brands do you like?

I'm going to give skinny jeans a try. I've tried on several types at Old Navy and they look horrible. The fit is really bad-lots of bunching around the knees and ankles. I think I need to venture to a higher end brand, although I don't want to spend a fortune. I like the look of skinny jeans on others when it's tight but not super tight-jeggins like. That doesn't look good on anyone.

I'm short (5'2") and have small legs and am fairly small in general so skinny jeans "should" work for me, right? They look so cute on other people.

What brands do you like?

I have Old Navy and a pair from Maurices. I have a hard time finding ones that fit because I'm 5'9".

I've tried so many and my absolute favorite are Jolt jeans. I find them at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. They're skinny, but stretchy and are very comfortable.

Paige denim I like because I am tall, and the leg is not super skinny so everybody can wear them. I also like Silver brand because they have waist and length size, so they will fit more precise.

I buy super skinny J Brand to wear with boots and AG Stilt to wear with flats. When I'm not pregnant I hover around 100 pounds so I know what you mean about the bunching around the knees and ankles.

This was my quest two weeks ago. Old Navy did not work for me, neither did Gap. I ended up with Lucky jeans. It was more than I wanted to spend, but I gave up. I'd you sign up for their emails, you get 20% off.

Old Navy Skinnies are the only ones that are actually skinny on me. LOL Apparently I am in the minority, but I love them!

I like Loft modern skinny. They are not super duper skinny in that the ankle is a little loose. I prefer that and it makes them work with more shoes.

I love Kut from the Kloth, they are from Nordstrom and are very nice, but not super expensive, like $80. I've heard good things about J brand, I want to try those next.

I had a pair from H&M that I wore until the knee busted, they were great. I have a new pair from Madewell that I adore, they are stretchy and comfy. I have a pair from Land's End Canvas that are great, but not as comfy.

I bought 2 pair from forever 21. I'm 5'4 and usually weighs about 110. I love em!! They look great with flats, sandals or riding boots! I bought black and dark blue on sale for about $8.

The favorites I have in my closet right now are Banana Republic Joes, and Paige. I also have some JCrew Matchsticks which don't really feel skinny to me, but are pretty tapered. They fit well.

I have a few pairs of the AG legging jean, super skinny ankle. LOVE them. They aren't as thin as my other legging jeans (which by the way look great on me), the denim is soft and they are very comfortable. They don't bunch at all.
