TTC After a Loss

***Furbaby Friday!***

This is the baby goat, Mary Jo, yesterday. She has tried so hard to jump on top of the dog house like the bigger goats & was too small. She finally did it & was so proud!

She figured out another fun game, also. She was standing on the dog house & I bent down to get something. Next thing I know, she's standing on my back. We played this game for about 15 minutes until the bigger goats thought it looked pretty fun, too. It's not as fun, I promise. I may or may not have a bruise on my shoulder lol.

Awww that is too cute! Fray looks so cozy in that second pic.

I swear Boomer thinks he's a cat because he sleeps just like that.

We just have then for fun. Huey, the billy, is getting a new home today. He has become extremely aggressive and is tearing the fences up. I know it's because he's just a goat & doing what male goats do but he has become dangerous. The day the baby was born he attacked me, butting me & stomped my foot pretty bad. I actually thought it was broken but it's better.

I feel bad for him but he's going to a larger herd where he is not the dad to any of the goats. He is going to love it (I hope).

Sorry that these are sideways. The white/grey one is Reggie and the black/brown one is Rocco.

Update on Rocco from last week: He's been taking a steroid each day and is much better. All of his blood work looks ok, so no diabetes or hypothyroidism. But that means the vet doesn't know why he has a murmur. She suggested sending him to a cardiologist. Yeah, not going to do that. He has no symptoms of having issues except for the itching.

Eta: The cat outside in the second picture is a stray cat that has been hanging out since be was a kitten. Our landlords said they couldn't catch him. He hangs out between our place and our neighbors. Our cats play with him through the door, it's pretty cute. But, that's probably how Rocco got a flea bite.

Ofelia, picture perfect as always.  Linus, giving the stink eye.  Last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch and compared the baby goat to Linus (jumping around on all 4's --  too much!) and the alpaca to Ofelia.  Does anyone else think their pets look like every animal they see?
OMG @mdarmetko I can't even tell you how many times DH has said "It reminds me of Fray."  I'm talking everything from lizards to giraffes here!

  • Here is my Bristol. She is such a lover! She is a recue from a guy trying to fight her (fed her gunpowder and chained her with weights in the yard) she was beaten because she wasn't "aggressive enough." hate the deed not the breed!

  • @MrsDeo unfortunately, it was at our first home in a bad part of town and we witnessed it because it was our neighbor! I couldn't turn him in because they would have put her down (pitbull unchipped) and she would shock herself to get under our electric fence to get to our back door and whine. Of course I let her in (she was 3-4 months old at the time) he paid 1400 for her as a fighting dog and settled for us paying his car payment for a month. I just couldn't stand it! Also note, I was terrified of pits at the time and she changed me :)
