AW: Straight No Chaser was AWESOME!

We had a ton of fun. We went to Olive Garden for dinner, where I got a free meal because I ordered something that did not taste good and was underdone. I said something about it and they brought me a different dish and I didn't get charged for either. I was really impressed by the service so I gave the waiter a $5 tip. I really wasn't trying to be difficult. Then we went to the concert. They did a fantastic job. They have some funny bits and the black guy that is relatively new to the group adds a great dynamic because of the way they play up that he is the only black guy in the group. Caroline Glaser opened for them, she's cute and has a nice voice. All in all a very good night. I thought it was funny; there was a girl sitting in front of us (she couldn't have been more than 15) recording the whole thing on her phone and basically watching on screen. I thought, "what a waste. You're here! Be here!" The only downside is we didn't get home until 1:30 am. I'm patiently waiting for DD's nap now, so I can crash too :) No real point to this except to follow up my AW from last week for those that were interested.

    I'm hoping the 5.00 tip was at least 20% of what the total bill would have been since you were impressed, and received a free meal.

    I think it was like 35% I'm also calling the manager today to tell them I was really impressed with the service. I made sure to get the server's name so I could give him credit.

    Glad you posted this! I don't get to go until December 15 so I can't wait!! Can I ask if you remember how long the guys were on for? I'm worried about sitting for long being 8 months pregnant!!

    @1017Shannon They had two 45 minutes sets. There was about a 15 minute intermission between the two. :)
