I would like to start taking fenugreek and would like to know in what form you take it in or have taken it in. I heard mostly of pills but also powder in peanut butter and tea.
I'll post this also on the breastfeeding group but this board gets more activity. TIA
Re: What form of fenugreek?
The main ingredient is fenugreek, it's just in a liquid tincture form, which your body can absorb faster/better. And @happybride 276, I totally do the face and head shake everytime... I liken it to taking a really horrible shot of some kind of disgusting alcohol several times a day, lol. The LC I was talking to about it actually said you don't have to do the 15 min before and after thing.. I still try to, because it says, but if there's times I'm super thirsty I still drink. One of my friends also said she dilutes it in about an ounce of water when she takes it and it takes the edge off. But I do think it makes a difference too.
