Now my MIL is purposely causing drama! UGH! - tdap related

So after my great news yesterday, now I have less than great news... Apparently, MIL refuses to get the tdap. DH flat out told her no baby time unless she gets it. She then went into a whole hissy fit and tried to use the "immunizations have been proven to cause autism" BS on us. I feel like at this point she's being overly dramatic just to get under my skin.

I have to admit, part of me is pissed that she's going to miss out on spending time with LO until she gets immunized but the other part of me is ecstatic that I don't have to put up with her while I'm recovering. I'm a bad daughter-in-law! Thanks for letting me whine!

    She was all over the place in her rant that she didn't make any sense. First she was mad that we were asking her to get the shot, then she threw the autism issue at us, then back tracked and made it about LO... She couldn't make a good argument to save her life. She's one of those people that is very passionate about their opinions but does absolutely none of her own research to make those opinions. I take that back, her research is what she sees/reads on Fox News...

    Dealt with the same shit with my mom! Sorry you have to deal with that! I told her the same thing about, "no shot no baby" and she ended up getting both shots. I said, "you know where we stand, we're not arguing about it. The decision is up to you." She hated that, tried to cause more fuss and said how she didn't have to get it to be around my nephew (born in June). She even said, "you're not giving birth to the royal baby! It's not Baby Georgie!" Omg... Eye roll... Good luck.

    My IL's all refused to get vaccinated so we told them no baby time. It's fine with me, they had a choice and they have to live with the decision. Don't feel bad about her choices.
