Hi all.

Welcome back Mrs Mcirish and congrats again, Purpleiris!

I have my baseline Friday but I haven't got my period yet. I have a feeling my ET will be delayed like it was with FET #1 because of it. I'm not stressing about it, which is the weird part. I'm so blaaaaah about this cycle. Just going through the motions. I've stopped feeling guilty about that though, I'm looking at it as a good thing. Who needs the extra stress?!

GL to all the other ladies who are cycling.

Thanks for the warm welcome back ladies! Liz- hope AF decides to make an appearance so you can get started. Glad you aren't stressing about it. The cycle will happen even if a few days later than the original plan. We can't control this stuff. Hugs to anyone who needs one..

Gearing up for my FET. Baseline should be early next week. I'm sorta numb to the process right now. I'm trying to not get caught up in it emotionally (yeah, right). DH is also hoping that our transfer doesn't interrupt his deer hunting. ... Boy I feel special.

AFM: I am being weaned off meds with CCRM and the end of my first trimester is coming into sight! I am still in shock and I still scared to death that something might go wrong. Damn IF.

We had our consult with Dr. Sc and it looks like we are going to give DE one more try. I am feeling a little overwhelmed with the thought of finding a new donor though. Our previous donor really was a perfect match for us and it is going to be hard to find someone that is as good a fit. I am one of those people that likes to have everything planned out months ahead so not having someone in mind stresses me out.

Firesiren- GL on your FET! I know the feeling on planning life around hunting season. DH is hunting while I will be at ccrm! Liz- hope AF cooperates and I am glad you are not stressing out about it anymore Sophistikitty- I'm glad you are moving forward and I bet you find a perfect match RPL- I can't believe you are so far along, try to enjoy it! AFM, I have one day of antibiotics left and am awaiting my Lh surge so I can begin my estrogen priming:-)

Loads of good luck vibes being sent to all who are cycling and/or considering cycling! Congrats again to Purple Iris!!

In a few hours I'll be heading south again for what should be my final lining check! If all is good I'll start PIO (for the 1st time ever eeek!!) and ET will be the 30th. My thyroid is majorly screwed up right now (TSH 4.35 in Aug to 8.41 now despite med being increased), which makes me nervous with the thought of getting PG from this cycle. At first I thought the thyroid med absorption was being messed up by Folgard, despite me taking it hours later, but now I'm wondering if it was the BCP I was on for 2 weeks. Before the BCP I was having symptoms of hyperthyroidism and then after starting it I began feeling more hypo. Who knows... My endocrinologist upped my dose and wants to see me either when I find out I'm PG or in 2 months. At least my TSH explains why I've felt so "off" for the last few weeks.

AFM... honestly dreading our WTF on Friday. The thought of doing another IVF makes me want to gag. Is that awful to say? I just feel so hopeless and drained. How do you ladies stay optimistic after failed cycles? It's so tough.

So much excitement on this board right now!! So great to see so many of us moving forward!!

Liz- it's so hard, but as you know, you have no control over the timing of any of this... It will happen and I always wish you only the best!!

McIrish- I have been thinking of you a lot and I really think this is the right decision for you. No risk of the donor backing out, no risk of surprisingly finding out you are the 3rd recepients... All of that is eliminated with the frozen egg process. You know exactly what you are getting, the exact number of beautiful, mature eggs that *fingers crossed* make beautiful, healthy embryos. You are in my thoughts. I really, really hope this cycle is it for you. You absolutely deserve nothing but the best outcome.

Firesiren- I hope your FET goes smoothly.

Mm29- fingers crossed your donor is available and this process moves quickly!

Rockpaperlove- so excited all is going well!

Sophistikitty- I hear ya on choosing another donor. Its hard to find someone who is a good fit. I sincerely hope you find the perfect match for you and you have a great plan soon.

MrsC- so very sorry you're having a hard time. It's so hard to keep going. I always dread my WTF appts, but usually feel better to have a plan after. I hope it goes well and you leave feeling better with hope.

AFM: our wtf went well. We have 2 frozen day 6 blasts. One is an expanded B and the other is an early A. Our RE was not concerned about them being frozen on day 6. He emphasized that they were still thriving and of very good quality and felt we had a 50% chance given the quality and recent improvements in freezing techniques.
We discussed bloodwork, and he felt that this was not contributing to the embryos not implanting. He felt that if we were having early losses it would be appropriate to do bloodwork, but given there was no implantation, didnt recommend it. He agreed to do it if I wanted, but I ultimately decided against it given he doesn't think it's a factor.
I did have a hysteroscopy, which fortunately revealed a normal uterus. Endometrial bx results will be in next week.
We are going forward with our FET with my next cycle. Transfer late nov/early dec.... Hoping for a Christmas miracle. Preparing for our next steps.

Hey all! So happy to see all the great updates and hugs to those that need them!

I'm 15w6d. Nothing major going on. I've finally backed off to every 2 week appts with Dr. KK, which is fabulous not to make that drive every week! They are also starting to wean my steroids, which I am thrilled about. I see both KK & my OB next week and hopefully get to set up my A/S. I can't wait to find out if we've got boys, girls or both!

Hi everyone! Sorry I'm on iPhone and can't do personals. But it's great to see so many of us enjoying or getting closer to success. As for me, I'm in the middle of my DE cycle at the moment. My donor's retrieval is tomorrow. So far all is going well but I'm still tempering my hopes because I'm so conditioned to having things go wrong. I can't believe that in about two weeks I'll know one way or another if this worked. It's been a long wait.

Hi everyone! I've been laying low a bit this week but all ok. Hugs to anyone that needs them and luck to all the ladies cycling!

It appears my SCH has resolved itself and baby twists was measuring right on track on Tuesday. It was awesome to finally hear a heartbeat for the first time, and Hs mother has convinced him that it's a boy based on it. Guess we shall find out in about 7 months if she is correct! Leaving the RE for the last time was a bit overwhelming, it's so hard to beleive I am considered a "normal" pregnant lady now.

The morning of our u/s was so bittersweet as my grandmother passed peacefully very early that morning. She was ready to go and was surrounded by her children, it's still just sad. Both of the exciting events in our lives this year for H and I have also been marked by losing one of my grandparents, it's just such a strange mix of emotions. And so strange how life works out sometimes.

I am on day 18 of bleeding. Just switched over to PIO. I pray it makes this embryo stick! This past month has been a nightmare of unimaginable fear and frustration; only you girls understand the emotions I have been dealing with. I am suppose to have another ultrasound at 8 weeks but I begged and had it moved up a week. I just need to know if there is anything growing in me!

Twistsandturns, I am so sorry for the passing of your grandmother. Wishing you endless joy in motherhood!

I am a nervous wreck, with terrible anxious stomach issues. I want to puke every day. I have no idea why I'm reacting this way, when I've already been through 4 IVFs. We fly out Monday for our one day .WU on Tuesday. I am dreading being slammed back into the world of endless invasive tests and all of the other crap that goes with this process. Still... hoping for the best.

16 weeks and feeling a million emotions, but mostly gratitude. Found out we have at least one girl! Next appt will confirm baby B in 2.5 weeks! So excited for those cycling soon!
