Baby Girl "C" arrived on 10/07/14 (39 weeks, 6 days)
I never have anything to complain about, but today I do. I would like to TP my sister, I know her negativity and questioning everything about my IVF cycles is coming from concern, but damn I got to transfer a good quality blast. Let me be happy and enjoy it. So far in the last 24 hours, she has accused my clinic of ripping me off, told me that we need more testing because "unexplained infertility" is not a diagnosis, and basically pointed out that since we have never gotten pregnant in 2 years even after medicated IUIs and took 2 cycles of IVF to get one blast to transfer, that it doesn't look too promising for future cycles. WTF. I am well aware of all our failures, but is now the time to point that out?
Most of this transpired by email, so I sent her an email saying that I don't need her negativity right now. Then she gets defensive and says that she is just trying to be an advocate for me and worries about if we will be successful when we try to add to our family 2 or 3 years down the road. Not really worried about years down the road yet.
There is no point to worrying about years down the road, if I don't get pregnant now.
Ugh, I just want to enjoy that we made it to transfer and have a good shot at pregnancy.
