This lady in Wilkes Barre, PA tried to sell goth kittens on the internet and pierced their ears, tails and necks. Thank god the SPCA found out and are pressing cruelty to animals charges. Some people are such assholes!

Re: I want to kill this person for what they did
I heard this on the radio this morning. ?and omg i completely forgot to post this last weekend. I went to a craft fair on saturday. There was a woman selling dog coats. She had a teacup chihauhua (sp?) in a front carrier - like a baby. I was a little irked by that but the dog didnt seem to mind. Then the dog turned its head and thats when i saw it. She had pierced the dog's friggin ear!?
I asked her if i could pet the dog (secretly taking a closer look). yup, it was pierced. Internally I FREAKED! I stayed calm long enough to ask her how she pierced the dog's ear. She told me she just used an earring post and poked it through. WTF!!!?
Thats when i got super pissed. My bff that was with me actually pulled on my arm to guide me away because she could see the explosion coming. I asked her how she would like it if i held her down and drove an earring through her ear. I cant even remember everything i said to her. but i railed on this woman for a good 3 minutes about what an @sshole she is and that she doesnt deserve to have an animal. then?I took a page from the nest and told her that dogs are not for bedazzling.?
i cannot for the life of me understand how a person can call themselves an animal lover then turn around and pierce their body parts or dock their ears and tails for no reason other than cosmetics.?
honestly no but i do have to restrain myself from saying something to people. I dont think its right.
But do you seriously not see a difference? A dog's ear is much thicker and harder with more nerve endings in it than our fleshy lobes. Obviously I cant ask either if it hurts more. But having had cartilage?piercings?and lobe piercings, there is a significant difference in the level of pain that is felt. A dog's ear is more like the cartilage on the tops of our ears.
I have no problem with piercing a child's ear. A child that is old enough to be made aware that it might hurt a little and they can make a choice based on that. A dog or cat can never have that option.
That's how I feel too. hey can't say no. I don't agree with piercing a baby's ears either honestly.
