6 week growth spurt is Hell

I hate the 6 week growth spurt I HATE IT. I feel almost as tired as I did when lo first came home. Ughhhhh. End rant.

    It does suck. We had a week of hell, but now DS is sleeping much better - so there is a light at the end of the hellish tunnel.

    Ours just ended Tuesday.  It lasted 8 days and it felt like I was feeding her non stop.  Yesterday, she was back to every 2-3 hour feedings but was either feeding, sleeping or screaming the whole day.  I'm really hoping she levels out today!

    I keep thinking that today is the day it must end... But it just keeps going. Ugh.

    I think, or at least hope, we just went through the 6 week growth spurt a week and a half early - finished it yesterday. WOW! Can you say HORRIBLE?!? LO would not sleep anywhere but on me, had to be nursed constantly, freaked out even when trying to nurse - you name it! But it passed, we survived, and he's cuter than ever!

    We are dealing with it a 5 weeks and I cannot tell you how many tears have been shed over exhaustion and sore nipples. At least its happening before we move next weekend.

    Oh great...I dealt with this at 3 weeks and he will be 6 weeks on Saturday. I imagine I only have a short time until I experience this. :/

    My LO went through it last weekend at 5 weeks. Omg. Sooooo draining. It was horrible that day, next day not as bad, and third day so-so. I think he is past it now... But MAN my poor boobs! Went though engorgement, countless soaked shirts, squirting and leaking all over the place... It's like my milk came in for the first time all over again. I'm amazed that my body knew to make more milk to meet LO's demand.
