in November 2013 Moms
Anyone else have people acting like this is your first baby or first birth experience?
I have people actually saying "oh wait til labor if your uncomfortable now" and a bunch of "just you wait" things.  
uh, do you not see the almost 4 year old standing next to me? 
Even family members are doing it! 
It's starting to drive me crazy, I just want to be like I KNOW!!!!!!
I just want to TP them alllllll!

    Not really... most of my comments are about how big I am, which is pretty funny because I think I'm carrying much smaller this time!

    I've had some "just you waits" about having two. Apparently I should expect lots of jealousy and even more sleep deprivation. My 2 1/2 year old barely notices the new baby and I haven't slept for...oh about...2 1/2 years. So I'm good on the "just you waits". :)

    TTM, and my whole philosophy about parenting IS about waiting.  I'm not going to stress myself out about all the little things that can happen when you throw another human being into the family dynamic.  
    I've gotten a few comments about how big I've gotten, but that's to be expected.  I think despite the fact that there are pregnant women everywhere, it's surprising still to see how much space an unborn child can take up.

     I get a lot of people who tell me all teh time that 2 is not just double the work it's like quadruple. Also that I will have to deal with a lot of jelousy and DD1 not wanting to be Momma's girl anymore.

    My SIL (who I do love dearly) has been giving me the "you just wait"...but she only has one DS who isn't even 1 years old. Apparently because a few of her friends have 2 she is an expert on having 2 children.

    The other day she said to me, "You have to understand that each child can have completely different personalities, just because Jack was easy going doesn't mean your next one will be." Umm yeah, you are married to my brother, he and I are nothing alike. I think I know that every sibling is not a carbon copy of the other!

    People we know tend to forget that I'm technically an STM so that sucks.  I also hate being out in public and people asking if this is my first.  Car shopping last weekend was the worst.  When it's a stranger, I just try to straight answer questions without getting into it.  I ended up having to divulge when the woman at the dealership asked if DS was tall for his age because DH is so tall.

    I get that ALL the time because DS1 is SO well behaved and easy going. Basically everyone telling me this is going to be a "devil child" because DS1 was such an awesome baby and how good he is now

    Thankfully no 'just you waits' but strangers do love to ask if it's my first.  When I tell them 'no', they stop talking and get this sad look on their face like they can't tell me how much my life is going to change when I have a child.  I find it kind of funny how quickly they stop talking (every time too) when I say I already have one.  I did get asked the other day if I was happy when I said I was having another girl - who asks that?
