I just want to know - tomorrow I will be 14 weeks. When would I usually start showing? Some people have said at 20 weeks and longer. I am just curious based on the experience of other's. Thanks.
I'm a FTM and I started to "show" at about 15-16 weeks, which is early. But my midwife said because I'm little (5'2") and my pelvis sits high, there's nowhere for the baby to go but out. Unfortunately, right now, at almost 18 weeks, it still just looks like I've had a few too many hamburgers, not like I'm pregnant.
Remember that what is "showing" to you isn't very obvious to most people. With both my pregnancies, I couldn't fit into my old clothes by 12 weeks and was "showing" at 16 weeks, but most people thought I just ate a big burrito until 20+ weeks (and some oblivious colleagues still hadn't picked up on the more obvious belly at 30 weeks)!
I feel like I have a teeny bump now at 20 weeks. This week was the first time that people who know I'm pregnant said they noticed the little bump. People who don't know haven't said anything. This is either because they don't care, they're not sure if it's a baby or belly fat, or they don't notice anything at all. It definitely feels like it's growing faster now though.

TTC Our first miracle baby.
With my first it was 15-16 weeks when strangers started to notice, 12-13 weeks when friends and family began to notice. It gets earlier with each pregnancy.
At 15.5 I think I started to have a little belly now 16 weeks today it's still there so i think it's baby . But other people won't notice it on me just me and my bf
I'm going to be a first time mother soon too!!! My due date is April 18th 2014, I will be 15 weeks tomorrow. I can tell now that I'm pregnant, but my doctor told me that because I'm so tin i might now show until 17-18 weeks, but it vary's on the woman carrying.
I'm 13 weeks and showing since 12, people had already figured I was pregnant but didn't say anything until I actually told them. Apparently I'm showing more because I have lost 14 lbs from morning sickness!!!
I'm 14 weeks today and definitely showing more than bloat. In fact, my bloat has gone down almost entirely and it appears to be all bump. I feel like this is early for FTM, but then again, everyone shows differently!
I agree that bodies are different, and it is VERY strange. I keep touching my belly to see where the hardness is because I can totally see it growing so exciting
I'm 16 weeks today (FTM) and I think I started to show last week. But I'm only 5 ft tall, so there isn't anywhere for the baby to go but out! My jeans started to get tight around 8-10 weeks. I can still wear some really low rise jeans, but maternity jeans feel best now. People who know me think it is really obvious that I've started to show, but others look at me as if they are unsure. haha.

I started showing early too. It's not blatantly obvious, but I didn't have a pooch before. So, all those that know me can see it. I just can't wait till it's more obvious!
With my first preg, I could have hidden it until 19-20 weeks. With the second one, I was showing by about 14 weeks. With this one, I was huge by 11-12 wks! LOL.

I was told short women can show fairly early as well, and I didn't believe it even until I noticed it on myself! I asked my OB and she, too, said this is common because everything can only go "out." I am 4'11".
So my husband and I both started noticing this around 12-14w mark. Also, to be clear, I don't mean "showing" as in so big everyone at work knows. No one knows in my baggy sweaters! But, as far as what my husband and I know my body looks like, we could definitely tell! Also, it's not very squishy like my bloat was, it was firm. And it's not weight gain because I am *still* 5-6 lbs. *under* my pre-pregnancy weight. It's definitely our little bundle of joy ^_^
I'm still comfortably wearing my pre-pg clothes. I haven't had a remarkable weight gain yet either. I have always had a small pooch just below my belly botton, which tucks back in at my bikini line. When I tried on the maternity jeans and sweaters I've bought so far so I can cut the tags and wash them, the pull-over material on the jeans made my pooch look like a baby bump, LOL! I look completely not pg in my regular clothes otherwise.
A friend of mine who's pg with her 3rd, she's 5 weeks ahead of me and she looks pregnant. My sister has had 3 babies, she told me that it can be due to the fact that my abdominal muscles haven't been stretched out and weakened by a pg before since this is my first. Basically, my abdominal muscles could be supporting my growing uterus and possibly holding it all in right now. She also said it all depends on my overall anatomy, how much room is in there for the uterus to go up vs. out. She also said to enjoy it for now, because eventually I will pop LOL!
It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
My belly is a little bit firm now, and people can definitely tell I am pregnant. The people that don't know me may just say I am "fat". People at work can definitely tell I am pregnant. It's still not 100% hard, but it's 50/50
You'll show when you show. Usually sometime between 13 and 25 weeks. And there is no rule, so technically everyone is an exception. It depends on your body. Your body, not just your general body type, height, weight, or any shape category you might fit into.
