You could use Carlotta instead. Or...I don't know, I'm sure there's other Lottie full names.
There's lots of names I only like the full name or the NN for, but I don't really see the big deal in using a NN as a full name. I like Maggie and Daisy but not Margaret; Kate but not Catherine; Tillie but not Matilda (we call Tallulah Tillie sometimes). I think any of those work fine on their own.
Whenever this comes up, I always remember that you and I are the opposite with Margaret and. Maggie, though we agree on Daisy. I want to like Maggie, but I think I have some weird negative association with it. Maybe it will grow on me.

I like practically every NN for Margaret, and just can't like Margaret itself. Daisy, Maisie, Maggie, Midge, Margo, Greta---even Peggy, thanks to Mad Men. Margie is probably the only one that doesn't thrill me.

I looooooooove Greta! Not a big Margaret fan, but it's a nice name.

I love Margot (Margo, Margaux), so there's always that.
Mildred is awful. I like Amelia and Millicent as full names for Millie, though. I really like Millicent in full, too, but since DH frequently calls DD2 Tillie, it seems kind of dumb to pick a name with such an intuitive rhyming NN.

Um-- totally. Rudolph. I don't hate Rudolph, but I don't think the name is super appealing.
Also-- dislike Penelope but I love Poppy.
What about Carlotta? A Carlotta could so be a Lottie.
