Adult holloween costumes

Anyone have plans for holloween? We are of course taking the kids trick or treating. We are also planning on going out to an adult holloween party. I just can't believe how expensive adult costumes are! DH and I went to party city, and every other holloween store in our area, and they have some really cute costumes but they are all like $30 or more! I just can't justify spending that much. The one I really want is $50. Plus they are so cheaply made too. I know I will regret not getting it tho when I see all of our friends all dressed up in their cute sexy costumes.
Anyone have any low budget ideas...other then my usual black outfit with cat ears that I wear like every year? Thanks girls!
