Slimgenics? Other Diets?

I was in the process of being on the Slimgenics weight loss program when I got pregnant and had lost about 70lbs. It was really hard and I was being a lot less motivated about when I got pregnant and I'm worried it will be even harder with DD now. Has anyone else done this program after pregnancy? Or at all? I'm going to start back up again next week and I guess I'm just looking for some motivation. It's a lot of food prep since it's all fresh foods and a lot of portioning so I'm a little worried about the time commitment. I don't want to fail!

Re: Slimgenics? Other Diets?

  • I haven't heard of that one. Since I was cleared at 6 weeks Monday I am going to be focusing on eating cleaner again, slowly return to spinning and probably start shakeology again. I need to build up some stamina again so I can (finally) try to conquer insanity. I always fizzle out halfway through!

This exactly except replace spinning with Les Mills Pump. Shakeology has kept me sane since pregnancy! And to @skalbrecht have you tried Insanity Asylum? It's only 30 days! I did it twice and was in the best shape of my life.

I would love to get into yoga, any DVDs you would recommend? Slimgenics has you only do lighter working out for a while (not weight training or intense cardio) so I think that may be a good way to strengthen my core without overdoing it.
  • I don't know of what could be best but I'll ask my yoga instructor! Thank goodness we are friends lol.
