Hi there, just wondered if anyone is suffering from carpal tunnel? mine started the last month or two of pregnancy & obgyn said it should be gone 3 months after giving birth. it is worse than ever now, both hands...fingers numb/tingling all day.
Yep in my left hand since about 36 weeks. It got worse for me too after I delivered but now it's finally starting to become less numb at almost 5 wks pp. I just bought a brace too and now I don't think I'm gonna need it.
Ouch! I wore braces at night during pregnancy and was thrilled that I haven't needed them PP. If you're tingling that much you might see about getting a chiropractic adjustment, you could have a pinched nerve or something causing it. Hope it goes away soon!
I had bad carpel tunnel from around 30 wks on. It was significantly better within a day after birth, and while I still have numbness, it is not at all painful (it would wake me up at night). Ice only worn my braces a couple times since then (17 days). Do you have a lot of swelling? Have you tried braces? If not, I would.

Mine is 95% gone now at 6wks, but it was still going strong for the first few weeks pp.
This. Even after the vast majority of my swelling subsided the carpal tunnel was still going strong. Just in the past day or two it has eased a lot. I'm hoping it goes entirely soon. Hope you feel better soon too OP!

I had bad carpel tunnel on my right wrist from about week 36 and it got so much worse the further I got along in my pregnancy. It has settled down a slight bit since giving birth, but it's definitely still there!

It seems like most of swelling is gone but I still can't get wedding bands ovr my knuckle so joints are swollen I guess. I do try to wear the braces @ night. I also have had some pain in knees lately & wonder if something more is going on...hoping just old age.
My knees bothered me the LSAT few weeks of pregnancy;I think it's pretty normal BC they are subjected to carrying so much extra weight. I wonder if you could find any relief from icing your wrists...
