Hi! I've had low supply issues throughout this wonderful experience. I take fenugreek, drink the tea, and eat the cookies when I need to. My right breast has no issues. I am able to pump and feed from that one. When I pump in the morning 3 oz comes out easily. Lefty... Not so much! Only 1.5-2 oz. I've been feeding her more in that side but it hasn't worked! She will be 6 months this month.

What can I do to boost that supply?

    It sounds like your supply is fine.  From what I have read 2 oz is a decent amount to get while pumping.  Also, baby is much more efficient at removing milk than the pump.  It is completely normal for one side to produce more than the other.  I know I had one stud and one dud that produced similar levels of milk as you describe in your post.  It sounds like you are getting some good galactagogues. Maybe increase your water intake.   Be sure you are getting enough so that your body can make milk.

    I have no helpful advice. Just know that you aren't alone. Both times that I've nursed, my right boob has been a champion and the left a loser. Both babies developed a preference for the right, and I could see when I pumped the difference in the letdowns from either side. I always got a good ounce to two more out of the right. Don't stress about it - champion boob will make sure baby gets enough milk and loser boob will hang in there with a little production until it's time to wean.

    I wonder if the stud side correlates to your dominate hand. I keep hearing ladies say their right is their stud and it's more common to have right hand dominance. I'm left handed & my left is my stud. Just a thought...

    TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!

    FET 4/28/2015 - Transferred 1 M embie. 5/6/15 BFP!

    I'm still very new at this (5 days), I'm a lefty and having issues with my right boob producing milk. At 5am this morning, I got no milk from the right side at all! I pumped for a good 40 mins and nada. Will try again now!
