Follow up from m/c

I hope its ok for me to post here, this is my "home" and the mc/loss board just makes me so so sad and I need to stay away...

Things are slowly getting "back to normal" with my body. Yesterday and today I have had lighter bleeding almost spotting now. This am I passed what I assume was the baby, it was different than everything else, and my OB is sending it off for a pathology report. She said everything is looking good and clearing out like it is supposed to. Thursday I go in for bloodwork to make sure my hormones are leveling out like they are supposed to, once those results get back to her, she wants me to come in and discuss preventative measures for the next 3 months... She said that's the bare minimum she wants us to wait, just for my body to physically heal, and for me to have time to emotionally heal as well. I was hoping we could get right back at it, but I see where it makes sense to wait. I don't really want to go back on birth control, but DH and I both agree, with our luck, I would end up pregnant again before the 3 months is up... So we will just see where it goes.

In the meantime I plan to start running and working out... Sounds like a good plan to get my mental health back together...

I am so sorry for your loss, hugs! We didn't do birth control because in my case, it messes my system up too much. We just avoided sex anytime near ovulation so we didn't have much sex since I wasn't sure if and when I was ovulating. My sister, who it's a nurse, went against doctor's orders and got pregnant with my very healthy neice the next month. I'll be praying for you and we are here anytime!

I am sorry for your loss. I did not want to get back on BC after my loss so we just avoided sex during my FW, but I temp and I don't know if you do that. Whatever you are comfortable with is what you should do! ((hugs))

I am so sorry for your loss

I had 3 early m/c before getting preg with our daughter. They were very close together (all within 5 months). I finally decided to take 3 months off and then we got pregnant again and had our daughter. Just thought you might want to hear a success story since I know how hard it is to wait.
