Fall Activities

Anyone do anything fun for Fall?

We've been going for walks after dinner to check out the neighborhood Halloween decorations. My DS loves this! He points and gets really excited.

We're also hoping to go to a pumpkin patch and Boo At The Zoo the next couple of weekends.

    We went went to our local pumpkin patch last Saturday. It was really fun. AJ really enjoyed the hay ride. We also plan on doing the zoo thing, since we have a great zoo directly across the street from where we live. AJ doesn't really enjoy walks, unless she is walking and not in the stroller, so we're limited on how far and fast we can go. I look forward I Halloween, otherwise no real other plans.

    We went to a huge Fall Fest last weekend with friends.  There were tons of activities for kids, and the weather was beautiful, so it was fun.  We are going to a much smaller fall-oriented festival this weekend.  I just like being outside and enjoying the cooler weather.  DS plays soccer, so I bring DD to his games.  We took an impromptu walk the other day because DS said he needed to collect 3 fall-related items for school.  DD enjoyed carrying around a leaf so she could be like her big brother.
    DS born 8/8/09 and DD born 6/12/12.

    I am huge into Halloween and Cooper has had fun running around our front yard laughing at the grim reaper and trying to knock over the foam graves. We are going camping this weekend and it's Halloween themed with a "magic pumpkin patch", hay rides, trick or treating, costumes, etc. My parents took him to the pumpkin patch last weekend. I love this time of year! We're having a small get together on Halloween and he'll be in his costume helping hand out candy. :)

    We love checking out the local Halloween decor as well!  There's a nearby neighborhood in which some houses go all out with the decor.  But I've been too tired to pack up & drive over there.  It's a little too far to walk to.  But we'll do it one of these days.

    No other plans for fall, except for thanksgiving & xmas.

    Boo at the Zoo turned out to be really fun! If a zoo near you does it, consider going one year. They had a parade, treat stations, music, and special exhibits. My DS has so much fun.
