Disney replacing scratched DVDs?

So I found this blog on Pinterest https://www.gourmified.com/2010/09/broken-disney-dvd.html

Has anyone else heard of this? Does anyone know of anyone who has tried this? Is it true? If so, we have a few that need to be replaced!

    Well it looks like it would work. I clicked on the link and went to the bottom and typed in "disc replacement program" in the search tool and it provides directions on how to send in your broken dvd. That seems pretty cool!
