Samantha is PULLING her hair when she falls asleep. Vigorously reaching up to the top of her head finding a handful and pulling it....like she is trying to rip it out by its roots. WEIRD KWIRKY child

D has pulled on his hair when sleepy or trying to fall asleep since he was a few months old. Sometimes when he gets to rough I will rub his head with my finger tips and that seems to help soothe him to sleep.

Abby has always done something like this. She will also rub her ears, which early on MIL try to convince me her ears were hurting.

That's usually one of my ques that she's ready for bed and will go down without a hassle.

I've noticed M doing something similar when she gets tired. I don't think she's trying to pull it out, but she's grabbing at it.

Yes, mine rips at her hair when she is very tired, has been doing it since very young. Luckily, hasn't gone bald yet!

Her new trick this week is picking her nose. Lovely....

sammie has always done the ear pull......sometimes the nose rub.. she hasn't done the hair pull again.. it was odd

@credcat7, I am just relieved that H is getting past pulling MY hair vigorously when he's falling asleep. Ouch.

@gargita oh no way could I handle that.. I am super sensitive to hair pulling so its been a struggle this year... my hair is constantly in a ponytail cuz I have no option......

Mine pulls her hair when she gets mad. And she does it very hard as well. Sometimes pulling some out. :-?
She pulls sometimes when tired too. But the best cue there is eye rubbing.
