Pacifiers

Lila hasn't had her pacifier in a while. But still every so often she will cry for it. I tell her we don't have them anymore and after a few minutes she calms down and goes on about her business. Normal? She was a paci addict sometimes having 2 in her mouth at once and one always in her hand. She is the one who decided she didn't want it anymore (thank god) and threw them all away.

    I think it's normal, just keep doing what you are doing.  I know the little boy I used to care for would talk about his paci periodically.  Mostly he would just say, "I don't need paci anymore" so obviously it was still on his mind.
