I think I may have started experiencing some Braxton Hicks contractions this week, but I'm a first-timer here, so I'm really not sure. And I also feel like it's way way too early. I'm only 17 weeks.
So, naturally, I'm worrying.
I'll try to describe it. I feel a rather quick tightening of my uterus that is not at all painful. It lasts about 30 seconds and then it dissipates. It has come, at the most, two an hour, and it seems to be more likely in the evening. If I push on my uterus, it feels like I'm poking a tightly flexed muscle.
Are these Braxton Hicks? Is anyone else experiencing these yet?!!
I have an OB appt on Tuesday. Hopefully, I'll be able to hold out and just ask him then. I'm also going to try to be extra vigilant about my water intake tomorrow. I'm probably taking in half a gallon.
