Advice? TTC for appx 7 months after second D&C

Looking for support and possibly tips! Don't know if I am going crazy or if something may be actually wrong. I've been pregnant 4 times. I do have two beautiful, healthy children (5 &3) - and believe me I am thankful for what I have. I have miscarried between my kids and back in February. Luckily I got pregnant with all my children including the miscarriages with only trying for a short period of time. I was luckily pregnant with my daughter by the time I would have been due with the baby I had lost. This time we are still trying - pass my August due date. I have this fear that something is wrong since I've had two D&C. Everyone says you must relax but I try and I'm typically a planner, worrier, etc. Do you call the doctor at this point? Do you keep trying? I am starting to feel defeated as every month passes. Now my not so fav SIL, is pregnant by "accident" with her third children that she didn't plan. Just having a hard time being positive.

    First off, I'm sorry for your loss. No matter if you have two healthy children or none, it still hurts. 

    Second, most doctors will not start testing for a cause for recurrent loss until after 3. If you are concerned with the number of miscarriages, you can ask your doctor about their preferences for when to start testing. Your doctor may or may not agree to do some tests after only two losses. 

    Third, most doctors will tell you to wait for a year of trying with no luck before they will start looking for a cause of infertility...unless you are 35 or older - then after 6 months you should call your doctor. 

    Fourth, I don't recognize your name. This board is for people who have been active on the TTCAL board for at least 6 months. I would recommend you read the blog on that page (in the header), post an introduction, and give support to others on the board. It is a great community and you will be welcomed with open arms. It's also a lot more active than this board.

    No longer TTC. Diagnosis: Hostile ute. Heartbroken and bitter. Pursuing surrogacy.
    June 2013 - Carrier found! Could this really happen?!
