36wks.. woot woot!!

I slept a few hrs here and there throw out the day. I have been fighting a cold so sleeping is hard because i cant breath. I started to drink tea so its getting a little better. Hope i am 100% for my baby shower on saturday..

Tomorrow I have an appt with my mfm to try and push back the cerclage removal date from tomorrow to monday. We need to discuss pediatricians and if induction is ok at 38wks if no sign of labor. I am so uncomfortable.

qotd: My dh and my mother will be in the room. my mom will be taking pictures or video which ever :0)

How did everyone sleep?I had reflux for the first time during any of my pregnancies last night and it was awful. I was up super late but slept in until 7:30. I think it's because I ate horribly; I am at the mercy of my husband in that department and he had a busy day so I think it was greasy pizza and donuts.

Milestone, update, appts?27w2d today, 5 days to my next milestone. Also, I have my GD blood test on friday. I'm nervous about it this pregnancy because I have not eaten nearly as healthy as I usually do but haven't ever showed any excess sugars in my urine so I think I might be ok..right?

Are you going to allowed them to record or take pictures?When I had my daughter prematurely (27 weeker), I had about 10-15 people in a very bright surgical room with me with 8 more in an attached room waiting to whisk the baby away. I was only able to have my husband with me and he couldn't take pictures. This time around, I pray it will be different. If so, I think I would still only have my husband. He is my rock and it's such a beautiful and intimate time. I understand why other's want more people but that's just my opinion.

kneenah- congrats on 36!

Slept ok last night. 34+6 today.

I plan to have DH and my mom in the room with me (as long as my mom gets here in time, she lives 2 hrs away). Is anyone worried that their MIL will be mad if they aren't invited into the delivery room but your own mom is? I'm worried about that! Although if I have the baby between 10/31 and 11/10, my MIL will be away on vacation, so then I won't need to worry about it :-) She told me I should stay on bedrest until she gets back- heck no, 8 more days to 36 weeks!

Well my mil lives back and fourth, here and her country. She is currently there and won't be here till jan BUT even if she was here I could care less if she got mad. My mother could comfort me more then her so she can wait till baby is born.. Some mother in laws think they have special privileges totally disregarding the wife's mother. My mother in law can be there for her daughters but my delivery belongs to my mom :-)

I slept ok. I woke up a lot to change position due to hips being sore.

Saw my DR yesterday and did the GD test and nst. I had one contraction in the half hr I was on. My dr was ok with that. My abd. Measured 27 weeks! I am 26 and 3 today. So I was happy with that. I have another cervical US next Tuesday. It makes me nervous not knowing if my cervix had changed with these contractions I have. But my dr said all uterus contract to some extent and and Not all contractions effect the cervix and we will see Tuesday because she Does not was to disturb or start anything. Which makes since. I mean I don't have spotting or increased discharge and the contractions are sporadic... So fx these are doing nothing to it.

Just my DH will be with me. I hope he takes pics

Not to burst your bubble. I work in L and D and I am pretty sure all hospitals have this rule but the dr must have a good reason to induce before 39 weeks. Elective inductions are only done at 39 plus weeks. Reasons to induce earlier than 39 would be pre e, severe iugr, mothers health severely comprised. I am sure I could be missing reasons. But hopefully your dr can find a reason

or maybe u already have one...

@Kneenah-Horray for 36 weeks!

I finally moved to my bigger room and have a large and bright window, yay! Slept okay last night, not much new to report. Hoping to get outside this weekend in a wheelchair and smell the fresh fall air!

My DH will be in the delivery room. He was the only one in all my deliveries. I feel like it is a special experience just for the two of us. My mom asked with my first, but she's a panicky person, so I didn't need that around! I don't think my MIL would mind, at least, she wouldn't say anything. As the delivering mother, I think it is up to you who you want in the room with you, and that should be the end of it :-)

I actually slept pretty good last night. No new milestones or anything for me. At my doctors appt yesterday I was 5 lbs down from where I was two weeks ago so now they are concerned baby might not be growing the greatest. I will have a growth u/s next Tuesday when they do my BPP. The doctor said if baby is not on track from my last one (growth u/s 2 weeks ago and baby was 4 lbs 10 oz) then they will probably have me deliver. They think the placenta is not functioning the way it should. Anyway, I am hopeful baby is growing and my weightloss has to do with inactivity on bed rest and losing muscle tone.

Qotd: just my husband and I were in the room when our daughter was born. I am the mean daughter who made my mom and mother-in-law wait outside the room because I wanted to share that experience with just my husband. I know my mom was hurt; she still mentions it. I will do things the same way this time around. I jugs wanted that experience for me and my husband. It was so emotional and a once in a lifetime thing. I let the moms come in literally like 5 minutes after the birth so it isn't like they weren't involved at all.

Morgan: so happy your in a bigger room :-)

Lindsleek: I lost 15lbs on Bedrest but still managed to grow. I made sure to eat and drink things a little high in calories to help with that.

lindsleek, I have lost 3 pounds in 1.5 weeks since being on bedrest. At 30 weeks, I have now only gained 20 pounds with twins. I asked my doctor on Monday about it (since I haven't gained anything in 5 weeks now) and she is not concerned because my babies are growing and in the 40th percentile (which is pretty big for twins as the scale is for singletons) as of my 29 week US. I have to admit that I have been trying to eat a little more the last couple of days even though I don't feel like it at all!

I think I'm the only one not in the second or third trimester that is on bed rest. I'm 13 weeks 2 days and this is my second day on bed rest due to heavy bleeding. Seeing the dr tomorrow so I'm hoping to learn more. I'm always tossing and turning at night, it hurts my hips to lay on my sides. My boyfriend will be the only one in the room with me during delivery

@pinkinprovence - I think my biggest issue is that I don't have an appetite at all. I am sure that goes along with inactivity and not burning any calories but I literally cannot remember the last time I felt actually hungry. It is good to hear that the weightloss or lack of weight gain hasn't affected the babies growth. That relieves my worries a little.

Hey ladies 24 weeks and 3 days !!!! Feeling not so great the past two days, was very tired n back hurts n feet hurt . Everyday that goes by I get more excited about my baby girl. She moves n kicks alot lol n I can see my belly moves n I love it

@JandM, IMO you should be fine. Your diet doesn't determine whether you will get GD or not. There really is no way you can guess if you'll have it. The blood test is the determining factor. I shamefully admit that I have very bad eating habits and didn't have GD with either of my pregnancies.

@kneenah-happy 36 weeks! So exciting. Good luck at your appointment tomorrow.

Happy Hump day, ladies. I'm late today, but here!

Slept like usual last night but better than the previous night. I have so much pressure on my bladder, I could live in the bathroom.

33 weeks today! So excited; I'm scheduled for 3 more P17 injections and one more refill on my procardia. I've had some serious pelvic pain last couple of days and my pubic bone feels bruised. I have a prenatal appt tomorrow and am going to mention it. I've also been having lots of BH again. And I'm constantly exhausted. One week and 5 days until I reach where I was when I had DD.

Qotd: This time, it will be DH & my mom. Last time, it was Dh, my mom, mil, and my 2 sisters. My sisters are going to be in charge of DD this time and mil can come to the hospital when I'm ready for visitors. She's not on my "A" list right now, nor has she been for quite some time.
