I've heard the sids risk drops off st six months and the tummy sleeping is a no no . LO will be six months next week and she has started to turn to her side and tummy to sleep. I don't like her to sleep like that and try to turn her back but it pisses her off. When is it ok to let her stay that way?
Re: At what point can I stop worrying ?
This, but my pedi is actually okay with me placing her on her tummy. She won't sleep until she's rolled over which means she sometimes ends up with her face against the side/leg through the bars/head smooched against an end. If I put her one her belly she pretty much stays put in the middle where she is safest.
Sames. For the last month he would only sleep on his stomach but the last week I noticed he moves around more in his sleep. He will go from his back to his tummy to his back again throughout the night. I don't move him. If I ever notice he is trying to bury his face in the mattress, sometimes I'll turn his head to the side. I love our video monitor. It definitely gives me a little more peace of mind being able to see him.
I seriously cannot imagine rolling a baby back onto his back if he rolls onto his tummy. I tried that maybe once with Sonya, and it wasn't pretty.
