pimples?

so ds developed this red spot on his face, near his temple which became a tiny bit raised in the last couple of days.  i can't tell if its a pimple or a bug bite, b/c i guess it could be either?  now i just got a call from my mother who watches the kids while i'm at work saying that dd looks like she's getting one.  anyone have any idea what this could be?  if they're pimples, is that normal?  i'm planning on calling the pedi when they open.

    DS sleeps on his belly and drools. He always has what appear to be pimples on his right cheek. I don't know what else it could be. Temple is an odd place though.
