Seriously, my dog will not leave me alone. She's like a shadow I'm constantly stepping on. I don't remember her being so clingy when I was pregnant with DS. I've heard they can sense when you're pregnant and get more attached but come on!
Both of our dogs have been like velcro. Doesn't help that my husband has been away at training for work so I'm all they have right now - but they are both always with me. If they're not, I know they're getting into something!
Which happened lastnight...our male boxer wasn't under my feet which was an instant red flag...I go downstairs and he had devoured the pound of thawed out chicken I had on the counter to make for dinner....I was so distraught I just sat down in the middle of the kitchen floor and cried. Oh pregnancy hormones
Same. Our dog and 2 cats won't leave me the eff alone. It's to the point where our dog cries whenever I leave the house. I ran an errand last night and my husband texted to tell me the dog was crying. It's flattering, but I'm a little concerned about how she's going to handle it when the baby actually gets here!
As I type this my 48 pounds dog is sleeping on my lap. She never leaves my side. NEVER. When I wake up in the morning she is laying outside of the bedroom door. When I go to the bathroom she sits outside the door. She is starting to drive me a little nuts. I love her but this mama needs space. She's lucky she is so darn cute.
I don't have a dog, but my cat is like that! Anytime I lay down, he is there, lying on my stomach. It's pretty cute and he's a great cuddler, so I don't mind
Yes! I have 2 males and 1 female they MUST be with me. I love them but at the same time they do not need to be jumping into the shower. (One can open doors, turn the knob and everything, and the others will get him to do it if they want in somewhere)
My dog is being absolutely ridiculous. He usually ends up on our bed in the night anyway, but his latest thing is that sleeping on top of the covers at our feet does not suffice. He now jumps up and burrows himself head-first underneath the covers and snuggles up with his head against my belly. Cute, but I can't say I enjoy waking up to a dog butt in my face every morning.
My dog always is a bit clingy, not it's ridiculous! She doesn't let me out of her sight right now. She's usually right next to me, or under my feet.
What kind of dog is that? I have a Catahoula, they look similar so I was curious
To add to the topic, my Catahoula could care less although my boyfriend thinks he is going to be the protective one once I'm further along... My hound dog however is constantly under my feet and making it impossible for me to get comfortable at night since he is plastered to my side at all times!
My dog hasn't really been more clingy than normal, he typically has to be in the same room as me, even if he is dead asleep if I get up to pee he follows, but isn't super snuggly all the time. He likes to sleep on our recliner while I am on the couch. However he has taken to sleeping next to me at night. Before he wouldn't stay on the bed if both DH and I were in it for more than a minute, even if we tried to get him to. Now he is jumping up and curling up next to me every night. I love it, but with him there and DH on my other side and two cats at our feet it gets a little tight!
I now have a super cuddler, when I used to have an ambivalent spaz. Lol. I've got a Jack Russell/rat terrier mix that now thinks that if he isn't attached to my calf, something is wrong. I can't even pee by myself anymore. I suppose he is preparing me for a toddler. Lol. If he's not underfoot, he is getting in trouble!
"I hate the term 'we're expecting'. Expecting indicates that there could be more than one outcome. To me, that term could be properly finished with any number of things, like, 'We're expecting a baby, but it could be a velociraptor..."
Honestly I really didn't think much about it because I got thrown from my horse a couple of months ago and had a concussion. My lab is what woke me up and she's been super clingy ever since. But now that I think about it she is more so now. Like climbing up in my lap, in my face clingy. And she is not a lap dog.
I waited a full week after I missed AF to take a HPT. DH and I knew something was up though, because our Cockapoo kept curling up next to my head when I would lie down. Now, every morning I wake up he's on my belly.
My 4 month old boxer will not leave me alone. He follows me to the bathroom and everything. I'm not allowed to be out of his sight. He was clingy before I was pregnant, but not this clingy. Haha.
My dog is always pretty clingy (a mini dachshund), but she's definitely been choosing me more to sit on when we're on the couch, etc. She sleeps under the covers against my tummy but she has always done that! It's especially nice in the colder months, she's like a little heater. There won't be much room left under there later in the winter though when my belly expands. Haha
Re: Anyone else's dog up her ass like whoa?
