Breastmilk question..when to give baby pumped colostrum?

Hi, my baby is just over a month old. I have some colostrum that I pumped when he was only a few days old. We haven't introduced a bottle yet, and still plan to almost solely breastfeed. I was wondering however, when is the most beneficial time to give my LO the nutrient packed colostrum? He favored one side in the beginning, so I had to pump the other to keep the supply going. I have quite the stash of milk in the freezer...when should I introduce the milk? I'm nervous about using a bottle for the first time. Any other moms with this worry?

    When it's been a few days since she pooped and is obviously in pain, I mix an oz of early milk with fresh milk. It gets her going pretty quickly

    I've heard it's beneficial to save some colostrum for babys sick days but typically colostrum is for the early days in the babys life before your milk comes in. I EBF and I had to introduce a bottle at one week due to jaundice and my DS had no problem going back to the nipple. If I were you I would feed baby the stored milk but save the colostrum.

    I just gave my 2.5 month old pumped early milk because he has a cold. Hoping it helps combat the virus.
