When do you trust that the bleeding is over?

My chart is in my siggy, but to sum up I had bleeding, spotting, bleeding (retained products), spotting, bleeding (passing the last of the tissue I think), and now spotting. This spotting is lighter than before and mixed with creamy CM. I want to believe it's over but I'm afraid that I'm going to start bleeding all over the place unexpectedly. I am wearing a panty liner today instead of a pad but I feel like I'm tempting fate.
