Negative pregnancy test

Hello I'm a lurker here but I have a question. Hoping that someone can help with their experience. I am never late for my period and I am 4 days late. I've taken 2 test already and they both came out negative. Has any one been pregnant and got a negative test when they were already late?

Could be stress or a million other things delaying it. Ive had some months skip entirely and i wasnt pregnant.

Sorry I messed up on my previous post. I never knew that you could ovulate late. Shows how much I know.

Wait a few weeks. If you test too early it will come out negative due to there not being enough hcg in your system.

You can read the TTGP info link on their board and learn a whole buncha stuff. Just don't post this kind of thing over there, they will annihilate you.
Never say never. I had two negatives before my positives with the bean I have cooking now and my sister never had a positive test while pregnant with my nephew.

I had negative tests up until my second trimester. Scary but true story.

I wasn't asking if I was pregnant. I was just wondering if anyone ever got a false negative. Like I said before I can tell you the day I am supposed to get my period and I am never late so I was just wondering if anyone else ever had a false negative. But thanks for everyone's answers.

This last cycle I was late (am "never" late) and had some strange symptoms.

Took the test, it came back negative and I ended up with a cold instead.
