Sorry again for posting the wrong day yesterday. We'll get back on track today.
Day 22: honour: Is there anything that you have done to honour your baby since they died? Did you give back to the community? Make a conscious decision to live as beautifully as possible? Take on the role of helping others in your situation? Maybe you work as an advocate for breaking the silence for our community.
Re: capture your grief day 22
Day 22: Honor:
We have done a few things to Honor Brooke, one being we had a brick with her name installed at a musical park for children in Keller, Texas. Brooke lived her whole short life in Keller and we always wanted her to be a part of Keller.
Another thing we do is make donations to the CJ Foundation for SIDS to help research find a cause to SIDS so no more babies gain their wings so early.
We participate in walks to remember and other memorial events for child loss. We want to do all things to remember Brooke and make sure the world never forgets her. Also want to spread awareness about pregnancy/infant loss and by taking part in these more people around us know how real this is.
Brooke Elizabeth born Feb 17, 2013 grew wings May 9, 2013 @ 11 weeks & 4 days old from SIDS
I honor my sons existence everyday! I'd like to continue to honor him by being there to support other women in my position. It's not easy being a mother to an angel baby. But it's easy being a friend and listening to others that just need an ear to hear them scream. I want to be your ears!
