Finger foods and no teeth

Wondering if anyone else has had success with giving their LOs finger foods before they had any chompers. Our DS has done well with toast, american cheese slices, puffs, and crackers so far. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Ditto PP.  Plus, the teeth they get at first are biting teeth, not chewing teeth.  They'd be waiting a long time if they had to wait until they had all their molars.

Yup, she eats everything we eat... And still no teeth. She's been doing it since she was 6 months old.

Banana, avocado, ripe peaches, steamed/boiled apple and pear slices, tomato, cooked zucchini, carrots, sweet potato, etc anything you can mash between your fingers they can handle with no teeth. You can also try shredded chicken, steak and fish.

My LO is 11m, has only 2 teeth and has been doing finger foods for quite some time.  In addition to what you have listed we do tomato, banana, noodles, steamed carrots, eggs, beans, chicken, etc.  Just make sure that whatever your provided is small enough that if swallowed whole will not cause choking...
