From 2 to 1 Nap

DD will be 11 months old soon and lately has only wanted 1 nap on weekends (she's in FT daycare). I tried putting her down this afternoon for nap 2 and she stood in the crib for 20 minutes clearly wanting no parts of a nap! Everywhere I read says the second nap doesn't usually go away until after 1 year. I know every baby is different but just wondering if anyone else's LO moved to 1 nap already?? Oddly at DC during the week she usually naps 3x day, but catnaps there.

    DD typically only naps once at daycare, but does 2-3 naps at home on the weekends.  She's 10.5 months.  When she does the whole standing in the crib thing, I lay her down, give her 5 more minutes, and if she's doing the same thing I say nap time is over.  We try again later if needed.

    DD has been down to 1 nap since 8 months. She wakes at 7:30am naps from 11-1:30/2 goes to bed at 7:30pm.

    My friend and I have boys 9 days apart. Her son was down to one nap around 10 months. Mine took 2 naps until 18 months. He is 3 1/2 and still takes a 2 hour nap each day. So yeah, every kid is different. Just follow your kid's cues.

    DD went down to one 3hour nap after lunch between 9.5 and 10.5 months. It lasted 3-4 weeks. Now at 11 months she's back to two naps a day on most days.
