100 mg of progesterone and delay of period

Hi ladies....My Dr. prescribed 100 mg. of progesterone due to very short luteal phase.   I am taking it vaginally to get it where it is supposed to be.  LOL   I am currently 2 days late and I know it can be the progesterone, but was wondering if that small amount can delay or stop a period from happening.   I don't want to get my hopes up since it prob is from the med.

    A progesterone suppository can definitely delay your period, but I don't know enough about dosages (I can't remember how much I took when I used suppositories) to know how it would delay your cycle. If you are two days late, I'd encourage you to take a hpt. You may get a nice surprise. GL! :)

    I have never had progesterone delay my cycle.
