Chemical pregnancy

I think I had a chemical pregnancy last night/today. But after reading some of the posts, I'm not sure. I was a few days late and this past Friday took a test that came out positive. My hubby and I were so excited as we've been trying since August. On Sunday night i experienced some bad cramping and woke up this morning with some light bleeding. I was nervous so I took another test and this one came out negative. I didn't want to wake hubby up to tell him so I went to work and when I got there I was still spotting pinkish/ brown blood. I'm not sure if this is considered a chemical pregnancy bc of how little I bled. But u even took another test when I got home and it again was negative. I obviously was pregnant 2 days ago and now I'm not, it's just weird and upsetting. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I still have some cramping, and spotting, but that is all.

    It sounds like you had a chemical pregnancy. I'm sorry for your loss. Personally, I experienced a mmc which required a D&C, so I unfortunately do not have any advice regarding a chemical pregnancy. I do suggest following-up with your doctor. They will be able to track your betas, if necessary, check your overall wellness, and tell you when you can begin TTC again.

    I went through something similar two weeks ago. I tested positive four days after AF was due then three days after that I began bleeding. I took another test a few days later and it was negative. I got a blood test done and it was below 5, mw said that I had a mc but its all out and we can ttc right away if we wanted but we're gonna wait til after my next AF.
    I think you should def see your ob/mw and get a blood test to check your hcg levels. That's the only way you'll know if there's anything left over.

    I'm sorry. It sounds like a chemical pregnancy. I don't have any experience with it so I don't know how much you'd bleed.
