So I went ahead and bought a two pack of HPTs today (since I have been cramping for 4+ weeks with no AF and have gotten TWO errors on previoius tests).  I open the package to POAS and as I am about to pee I notice my hot pink undies have a dark spot on them (TMI sorry) and I think to myself, that is a little bit dark to be normal discharge.  So I wipe and whadya know- AF is here.  So, I am not pregnant.  It just took a ridiculous amount of cramping to get AF for the first time since 7/4/07...

Oh well!  It is a good thing as now would not be the best time to be pregnant...but I'm still sad:-(

How long is an open HPT good for?  Anyone in Northern Virginia want a feebie?

    I know how you feel about it not being the right time but being sad anyway. I had a similar experience last week.

    I don't know how long it's good for open. Sorry I'm not much help!

    I don't think they're good for very long :-(

    I know what you mean about the sadness. ?Now isn't the ideal time for me either but I was CRUSHED when I got AF last month.

    Congrats on your home birth. ?If I'm lucky enough to get pregnant/carry a baby again that's my plan!?
