  I just switched over to a utility tote style bag. I can just throw whatever I need in it and it has a whole bunch of outer pockets. I also bought and insulated zipper pouch for bottles/food to go in it.

  After almost 3 years of carrying a diaper bag, I finally found one that I love with or without kids.  I got the Ju-Ju-Be Behave bag and LOVE IT!  I can carry enough for both my kids (although I do keep extra supplies like clothing changes and stuff in the car), but it isn't so big that when I don't have the kids that I feel the need to change over to a purse.  Yeah, I use this as a diaper bag and purse And I've certainly seen women carry bigger purses!

  @Brendamndz  I think I had the bag that you're talking about.  I liked it, but didn't find the pockets to be the most efficient and with two kids I always had to have it expanded.  Then it met with a tragic accident of the toddler variety and I replaced it with something else

  I just got a Ju Ju be diaper clutch that I can fit diapers and a snack in and throw in my purse.  I keep the bigger bag for day trips when she might need a bottle but leave it in the car usually.
